The Wellington Aero Club had an open day today. I was there with my camera – photos after the jump. I also won a 20 minute introductory flight, which should be fun.
Geotagging
Recently I got a small GPS travel logger. I have been experimenting with it, and this is the best way I have found for geotagging photos using it.

New website
Welcome to my new website. I have moved to WordPress, with nextgen gallery handling the photo galleries. Quite a few new photo galleries since my last post – you can view them after the jump, or click on Photo Galleries at the top of the page.
Harbour cruise photos
Went on a cruise around the Wellington harbour today on the Wellesley. 50 minute cruise for $7 seemed like pretty good value. Plenty of photos in the gallery for it after the jump. A pod of dolphins joined us for 10 minutes coming back into the harbour.

Karori Wildlife Sanctuary
I visited the wildlife sanctuary today – I have uploaded a small gallery of pictures. Not many there, I neglected to charge the camera batteries recently so I didn’t have much power to waste.
